Sometimes our lives are in chaos, and we can’t change anything….or we think we can’t, or it’s nearly impossible….or it takes forever to change… Sigh. We’ve lost control. Our schedules have taken over our every waking minute and we can’t find the next step forward.
When our lives are unraveling, sometimes all we can do is repeat the thoughts that get us to a more harmonious place again. We get to grow the belief that change is around the corner, on the other side, somewhere nearby.
Here are a few affirmations to weave into your mindset routine.
It’s okay if the family isn’t eating a meal together every night. It’s okay if the meals are pre-packaged and ready to devour in the car. Order the pizza. Get the cereal bowls. It’s okay, mamas. We work hard. It’s okay to take a shift off. When you want something yummy that’ll last a few meals, grab the crock pot and mason jars for the win! Prep, store, grab. It’s okay. When I know my weekday evenings are going to be busy, I prepare on Sunday. Here are a couple staples on our menu. Release the pressure, mamas.
Write it down and let it reflect in your décor! We all need reminders. Let’s get clear on our focus.
Place sticky note mantras on your bathroom mirror, nightstand, car door…
Include some affirmation reminders to pop on your phone throughout the day…
Get a magnet with your favorite quote, belief, desire…
Make a family poster of inspirations, expectations…
Mamas, we must rewire some old stories and beliefs of generations past. Gone are the days where Mom sacrificed herself for her children and partner. We have needs to tap back into. We have wants to fulfill. We are showing our children how to treat and be treated. It’s a massive responsibility. One that requires reflection, intention and action. Grab your journal, it starts with you. Breathe deep, we got this.
